History about me

10 years as a warrenty repairman for technotronic industries (T.T.I)

The Ruixing Carburetor Kit
i originally had made when i worked for T.T.I
i was a petrol mechanic and product tester
T.T.I used to sell a four stroke 4 in 1 tool
which consisted of
main four stroke head unit
1 straight shaft brush cutter attachment
1 bent cutting shaft 
1 hedge trimmer attachment
this kit they had a lot of problems with an so many returns
and every time a new replacement was sent out as everytime the cost was way
above the ERL (ecconomic repair level)

and i was asked to investigate why
they were getting so many returns with the four stroke engines
as they were over heating 
i came to the conclusion that these machines would run lovely
until used with the hedge trimmer attachment

this is where the motorcycle custom building came into action
when building a frame fitted with longer forks
for every inch longer the forks were you would have to rake the frame
to keep the engine level as it had a wet sump
if we did not rake the frame 
the oil would run to the rear of the engine and starve the top end of oil
and the engine would overheat and eventually seize up

same as the four stroke brush cutter with a hedge trimmer attachment
i dread to think how much it cost to have all of them units removed from from shop floors all over europe B&Q homebase mainly in the UK 
they asked me to help advise the design team
and they changed the carburetor 
and there is now a scavenger sump 
sucking the oil from the bottom of the engine 
and taking it up to the top
